About me

I take science seriously. I take you more seriously!

I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Ljubljana and I am a licensed ISA surf coach and swimming coach. During my studies, I spent a year at the University of Coimbra, where I was involved in research on stress and future perception. Back in Slovenia, I worked across organisational and social settings, supporting individuals, teenagers, and families through emotional challenges, relationship dynamics, and professional development.

Moving to Portugal was a meaningful personal decision that required courage and trust in myself. Living here has deepened my understanding of what it means to adapt, build a life in a new culture, and sit with uncertainty. It's something I can genuinely relate to when working with expats and internationally mobile clients.

Alongside counselling, I work with the ocean as a therapeutic space, because sometimes the most powerful healing happens outside the walls. Surf therapy combines psychological support with the grounding presence of water and movement. It is a unique way to reconnect with yourself when verbal expression alone cannot reach what needs to be heard.
