You do not have to be in crisis to come to therapy. Sometimes it is simply about understanding yourself well enough to make better choices, build better relationships, and live a life that actually feels like yours.

Psychological counselling is a professional, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours with the support of a trained psychologist. It's not about being told what to do but about gaining clarity, understanding patterns, and finding your own way forward.Counselling with me is a collaborative process. We work at your pace, exploring what is holding you back, what patterns keep showing up, and what kind of life you actually want to live. I draw from cognitive behavioural and acceptance commitment theoretical frameworks, alongside crisis-informed practice. Every session is tailored to your needs, there is no standard protocol, only a genuine conversation.Sessions are available online or in person in Ferrel and Sera del Rey, Leiria, Portugal in English or Slovenian. The first contact is a relaxed conversation to see if we are a good fit, no pressure, no commitment.
The goal isn't to fix you, because you are not broken. It's to help you reconnect with your own strength.

How the counseling process works
Initial consultation (15 min)
We begin with a short phone or video call consultation where you can briefly share your concerns and expectations. This helps us determine whether my approach is the right fit for your needs and how I can best support you.
First counseling session: assessment & goal setting
During the first full session, we explore your current challenges, personal history, and emotional needs in more depth. Together, we define clear and realistic goals for the counseling process.
Ongoing counseling sessions
The following sessions focus on working toward your goals at a pace that feels supportive and manageable. Sessions are tailored to your individual situation using evidence-based psychological approaches.
Review of progress & continued support
As therapy progresses, we regularly review your progress, adjust goals when needed, and discuss the next steps. Depending on your needs, support may continue, transition into occasional follow-up sessions, or include referral to additional specialised care.
Sessions are available online or in person in Portugal.
